Art Classroom Expectations:

Be Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to learn

• When you come in, quietly begin your Bell Ringer
• Listen
• Participate
• Respect the Materials
• Follow clean-up procedures
• The teacher dismisses you

• 6th Grade
• 7th Grade
• 8th Grade

GRADING SCALE:
A      92 – 100 
B      84 – 91
C      76 – 83
D      68 – 75
F      67 and Below

• Bell Ringers & Exit Slips – Please note some Bell Ringers and Exit Slips will be graded and others will not; this will vary depending on whether the material is new or has already been taught
• Projects – This will vary based on length of project and difficulty – These will be your biggest grades.  Please make sure to work during class and get your projects completed and turned in on time
• In-Class Activities – Some In-Class Activities will be graded and others will not.  This again depends on the material being taught in class.  In-Class Activities prepare you for your projects and tests, so it is important to participate and put in effort in all activities during class
• Post – Assessments – There will be two Pre-Assessments (not graded) and two Post-Assessments (graded).  The content will vary depending on the grade level.

Recycled Magazines/ Newspapers

Students! Please donate your old recycled newspapers and magazines to the art room. You may even receive a few pirate bucks for being such a good citizen.  Recycling rocks!
