Family Night: Cultivating Healthy Minds and Bodies

Healthy Minds, Strong Bodies, Thriving Families!

The night was full of energy as families gathered for Family Night: Cultivating Healthy Minds and Bodies on Thursday, January 23. The event began with an electrifying cheerleading performance by the Jane Addams and Melrose Park squads. Proud parents cheered enthusiastically, setting a spirited tone for the evening.

Each school hosted interactive tables, including stations for creating nutritious snacks. The Melrose Park juggling table was a favorite, challenging students to craft balloon shapes, with sword-shaped balloons being the most popular.

Outside vendors added to the excitement. Darius impressed with his rolling skate tricks, Loyola Clinic provided free blood pressure checks, and a hula-hooping team engaged students in showcasing their skills.

To wrap up, the Double Dutch organization energized the crowd with a jump rope session that inspired attendees of all ages to join. The event was a resounding success, leaving families feeling connected and motivated to embrace healthy habits together.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the organizations, vendors, and participants who made this event a success. Your contributions and enthusiasm created an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
