Welcome to the art room! I am the art teacher for the students at Stevenson Middle School. This is my sixth year teaching in this district. Before becoming a teacher, I had a career in marketing and hospitality, although I have been an artist my whole life. My first degree after high school was a BS in Marketing from Northern Illinois University. Later, I earned an Associate Degree in Studio Arts from Harold Washington College, and most recently I graduated with a Master’s in Art Education from Columbia College Chicago. Last year, I also received my certification to teach English language learners. As a firm believer in life long learning, I continue to take courses related to education and the art field to help me grow. ​
